Beryl Kessio is a junior Howard University journalism major and Arabic and African Studies double-minor from Huntsville, AL by way of Kenya.

They believe in the power of making photography accessible because when storytelling is truly democratized, much-needed marginalized narratives will emerge.

 

When they're not taking photos, cycling or cooking, Beryl enjoys dancing to everything from Ella Fitzgerald to Radiohead and Romeo Santos.
